I recently bought a cheap folding bike. Cheap meaning it’s not as expensive as a Dahon or a Tern or a Giant bike. Definitely cheap compared to a Brompton. It’s a Mouse Lehman, a high carbon steel bike, adorned with aluminum parts. What I liked about it are the disc brakes. For 7000 PHP (around 170USD), it was a good deal. I had a mountain bike before, and I am aware that biking can be quite expensive. I am frugal when it comes to money and I am writing this to record how biking can be fun without breaking the bank. With the number of thrift shops (Daiso, Japan Home Center and even CDR-King), one just needs to be creative to enjoy biking.
