If you’re biking to Sta. Rosa and want authentic Japanese food without breaking the bank, you have got to try Ryuma. They have a restaurant inside Paseo de Sta. Rosa but this mini branch is located beside the fruit market at the back.
Ramen, Gyoza, Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki, and other Japanese favorites at very affordable prices. To give you an idea, we had 3 bowls or ramen, 1 order of okonomiyaki and takoyaki (4 pieces), 2 sodas, 1 gyoza, 1 taiyaki ice cream, and 1 vegetable dish similar to chop suey ( sorry I forgot the name), all for 460 pesos only! Pasok sa 500 peso meal challenge!
Service can be a bit slow especially during peak hours, though. They have an open air dining area and an air conditioned one. You can watch them make your takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and taiyaki.
They also have meal sets around 120 each.
